Oh, how we love Bakersfield!

We spent the last week in Bakersfield. Much to my surprise, traveling as the sole adult with our two children was not nearly as taxing as I thought it would be. Moving sidewalks provide hours of entertainment for Zach, and Viv likes nothing better than to be held for 8 hours. Once we arrived, Nana and Papa provided tons of companionship to them. We also had some successfull playdates with some old friends. Aden has provided relevant details.

By the end of the week, Zach was ready to see his daddy. Really ready.
